Rainy weekend at the beach = house projects! New door hardware, updated our favorite 'bug' lamp, fun grocery bags, cleaned carpet and electric candles for the fireplace, and some added color in an upstairs bedroom. Come visit! August is wide open for weekly rentals. www.thebugghouse.com.

Amazing how much cleaning and scrubbing is possible in just 48hrs. Doing our traditional post summer rental refresh at the canal house. Beach cottage is next! (And we replaced a dishwasher, serviced the AC and the dryer.).
