Guitar Repair of Tampa Bay

Guitar Repair of Tampa Bay BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Guitar Repair of Tampa Bay is a professional, full-time, full-service fretted instrument repair facility. This is not a hobby for us.

We are a dedicated, full-time, professional repair facility. Guitar Repair of Tampa Bay (formerly the repair department from Legends Guitars) has relocated to a new workspace that allows them to not only do the simple repairs that are done at places like Guitar Center and Sam Ash but is fully tooled for more intense repair work. We can do everything from simple fret work to custom builds. The new

space is not quite as easy to find as their old location at Legends but it's worth the trip. It's interesting to see instruments actually being built. With a combined experience of over 60 years, there's very little we haven't already seen in the way of stringed instrument repair. Please take the time to seek us out for the best possible repair work in the area. Professional, working players get priority.
......and remember: We always stand behind our work. FOLLOW-UPS ARE FREE

Follow up on the 1961 Guild Starfire II. We decided to redo the neck and headstock. The old paint was too much of a mess to salvage. It came out great! Thanks to Moe Colors for the quick turnaround!

We hate to see this happen. This is going to be a tough one!

We had a concern on this Martin D16 Special on whether it was a bolt-on or dove tail neck joint. So, we x-rayed it! It is a dove tail but there is a bolt insert in the dove tail. Martin said that it was used during the manufacturing process. 🎸
