Who all has thrown hay bales??

Kids today hear the phrase “hard work” and think somebody means answering emails for eight hours in air conditioning.

Meanwhile, a whole generation grew up throwing hay bales in brutal summer heat with no shade, no complaints, and no quitting until the wagon was stacked.

Your shirt was soaked through by noon.
Your hands were blistered.
Hay stuck to every inch of your body.
And that metal tractor seat felt hot enough to fry eggs on.

But those long farm days taught lessons you never forgot.

You learned how to work when you were tired.
How to keep going when your back hurt.
How to pull your weight because everybody depended on everybody else.

And funny enough… a lot of the toughest, most dependable people ever raised came from those exact fields.

They didn’t get toughness from motivational videos.
They got it from July heat, hard labor, and old-fashioned responsibility.
