We are getting close to the end of our House Build Project, and everything is coming together nicely!

I want to send a huge THANK YOU to Lily Ann Cabinets and Cutting Edge Countertops for coming on board to support this project and help our students learn through real-world experiences.

Projects like this simply would not be possible without the incredible support we receive from our community. Your generosity not only helps us build a house—it helps us build skills, confidence, and career opportunities for our students as they explore the skilled trades.

We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and investment in the next generation of trades professionals. Thank you for helping make this project a success!

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang says the next generation of American millionaires won’t come from tech or finance, but from skilled trades like plumbing and electrical work. He emphasized that demand for these jobs is skyrocketing as infrastructure and housing booms meet a severe labor shortage.

With trade schools producing fewer graduates each year, skilled workers are commanding record wages some surpassing six figures annually without college debt.

Huang’s comments highlight a broader trend of shifting wealth dynamics in the U.S., where hands-on trades are emerging as the new frontier for financial freedom.

Back to School and back to Work! We are deeply grateful for the support of Carter Lumber/Carter Components, who generously provided the Truss package required for our roof construction. Furthermore, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Jeff and Ray at Buck and Knobby Equipment for their role in securing the Manitou Telehandler forklift, which is proving invaluable during the installation process. The contributions of these community partners have been pivotal in bringing this project to fruition. For all your building supply and equipment needs, we strongly recommend Carter Lumber/Carter Components and Buck and Knobby Equipment.

This week's cooler weather did not impede progress. There may be an increased interest in Carhartt coats, gloves, boots, and hats as Christmas gifts this year. 😂
