Check out our last unit we completed! We’ve had requests to just complete an exterior unit so do-it-yourselfers can save money and complete the interior. This is an exterior designed for relatively no maintenance and really catches the eye!

Schrock Custom Design LLC is very happy to showcase a home that we just completed. This is a spec home so it is available for purchase or to walk through. We did not spare anything on this unit and are very happy with how it turned out. I will highlight some of the details.

1. This 10 ft wide by 32 ft long tiny home trailer has a steel belly pan and 5 in of foam under the 3/4 in tongue and groove subfloor. The walls are 2x4 construction with an R15 insulation value and the exterior is LP Smart Side board and batten material. There is spray foam in the rafters and a half inch foil faced foam for a thermal break on top of the rafters. The roof has solid Grace ice and water shield on top of the OSB and then standing seam steel roof which has no exposed fasteners or seams. Windows are a northern grade home quality.
2. Interior includes shiplap walls, 3/4-in Aspen tongue and groove ceiling, light commercial rated final plank flooring, PVC ceiling in bathroom, exhaust fan in bathroom, solid custom hickory woodwork and cabinetry including soft close doors and drawers, solid maple painted trim and extension jambs, stonecoat epoxy countertop, 42-in shower with heavy duty glass enclosure, Italian Forno electric range and refrigerator, LP wash tower, and many intricate details. Interior is painted with Sherwin-Williams amazing Emerald paint.

It's always fun to see what wood products can do to add character to a project. This porch is super warm and inviting.

This summer we did a kitchen/living/entryway remodel for our great friend, Cate! Here's a fun fact: This is the house we stayed in while building our house seven years ago. It was great seeing the transformation as we removed some walls (a couple "before" pictures included) and then built cabinets to fit the space.

Here is a natural hickory kitchen with Stonecoat epoxy countertop that we did this year. This was designed for a small studio apartment with limited layout options, but the space was made quite practical with this c-shaped layout.

We are framing another 10' X 32' unit with a porch. It's been a while since we posted tiny home pictures. We did a few kitchen cabinet jobs this year but are super excited to be framing another tiny home!
