**To the Mayor Of Tuckahoe**
Dear Cara,
I am the owner of Kawer's Tuckahoe Paint & Glass, and I am writing to express my serious concern regarding the current snow conditions in Tuckahoe.
The safety of our commuters has been significantly compromised following the last two snowstorms. Columbus Avenue has become several feet narrower, and because the sidewalks have not been cleared, commuters are forced to walk directly in the street. This stretch of road also sees heavy truck traffic throughout the day, creating an extremely unsafe environment for both pedestrians and drivers.
As a resident of Eastchester, the lack of effective snow removal in Tuckahoe is particularly evident at the town border. While I understand that overtime funds may be limited, public safety must be treated as a priority. The current state of the roads poses a severe risk of a fatal accident involving a pedestrian or a collision between vehicles.
I urge you to take immediate action to have these streets properly cleared to ensure the safety of the community.
