The gate is the new statement piece.
For years, the gate just matched the rest of the fence: same boards, same hardware. Now more homeowners want the entry point to stand out. Think a different board pattern, a solid slab instead of a framed panel, or oversized hardware left visible on purpose. Same materials, used a little differently.
On the lumber side: softer building demand usually brings prices down, but not this year. Mill closures and production cutbacks have kept supply tight and prices firm. We've kept our cedar and pressure-treated stock deep, so a tight market doesn't have to mean a longer wait for your project.
