Nicholson's General Merchandise has been run by the same family for 70 years! It was opened in 1944 by Ray Nicholson. After his death, the store was run by his son Monk and his wife Betty Nicholson from 1974 through Monk's death in 2012. Now, the store is managed by Monk's daughter, Karla Nicholson. This page will include current sales and price information as well as a look back at the history of the store and community of Turtletown TN.

Gasoline prices for Nicholson's today are: $2.699 for ethanol unleaded, $2.799 for regular unleaded (no ethanol), $3.399 for unleaded plus (no ethanol), $3.479 for diesel. And we're full-service--we pump the gas for you.

Last week, Turtletown resident Robert Coffey brought us a pint of his home canned zucchini relish. It was delicious! Last spring, Robert came to the store and bought 12 zucchini seeds. Only 12. He said that would be enough. And he canned over 100 pints of relish from just those 12 seeds! :-)
