After at Rukaa Sushi (Peachtree City) — Royal Woodworks repurposed the existing black walnut slabs (from a table) to extend the bar top, then sanded and refinished everything for a clean, durable finish.

Royal Coatings supplied the full system + equipment: 300 2K Sealer/Isolator + 5500 2K with 601 catalyst, sanded with SurfPrep sanders, and sprayed using an ANEST IWATA AAA 30:1.

Prepping a full kitchen and living room built-ins for a spray refinishing. Prep is everything—because the paint doesn’t fail first, the bond does. We start by protecting the home: floors, counters, walls, and we set up containment and ventilation. Then we remove and label doors, drawers, and hardware so everything goes back perfectly. Next is a deep degrease to remove cooking oils and residue, followed by scuff-sanding to degloss and level the surface. We fill dents, smooth edges, and then do full dust control—vacuum and wipe-down—so we’re not spraying over debris. Once everything is clean, dull, and smooth, it’s ready for primer and a sprayed finish that lays down even and durable.

Big impact, small change—plus the right team.

Royal Woodworks handled the transformation on this kitchen island: refinished in Naval (ICRO 5500 series), upgraded with new hardware, and expanded with added cabinetry to make the island bigger. To keep the look seamless (and avoid waste), they reused the original island back panels as the new side panels—clean, complete, and intentional.

We took this new RTA kitchen and made it pop with a rich blue on the lowers, finished in ICRO Coatings 5500 (10 sheen) for that smooth, durable look with a subtle shine.
