Massive Estate sale alert: We bought this house at 260 Dunlap St from Tina Dunlap who is the executor of her mother Justine’s estate. Tina and her brother, Gerald, have decided to sell most of the personal property of their distinguished Newsome-Dunlap family here on June 5/6. The estate sale will feature furniture, art, appliances, antiques and vintage decor from multiple families. Most items have not seen the light of day for scores of years. The sale will be held at 260 Dunlap St from 8 till 5 on Friday June 5 and again all day Saturday June 6. This is a sale not to miss. We will post more images as we dig more items out. The rough and rusty sale begins promptly at 8 on Friday June 5th. Check out this cool one-wheeled put-put Clinton single wheel chore master garden machine we found in Junior Sarver’s horse barn. His daughter Joanne told a hilarious story of her dad tilling the garden, and then asking then teenage Joanne to ‘take it back to the garage’ while it was putting along, and she had no idea how to make it stop. There is a whole world of collectors regarding these and we want to get it into able hands who will make it run and put-put again on its single tire. Aside from rust, it’s been shedded forever, and the engine looks to be in excellent condition. . $80 takes it. Come on down, Friday June 5

The Rough and Rusty sale will begin at 8 on Friday June 5th. We will bring down the old farm wagon pulled by our 1952 Oliver 88 tractor. Who needs a 19th Century Buffalo forge? This unit which we just tested is in working condition and will sell for $100 complete with its cast iron table. A good deal when we see most selling in the range of $250 and above. Make it yours!
