Is your deck looking weathered?
Follow these steps for a long-lasting finish:
1️⃣ Clean the deck – Sweep debris and scrub or power-wash thoroughly. (Remove old stain and dirt for better adhesion.)
2️⃣ Test and wait – Sprinkle water on the boards. If it beads up, wait; if it soaks in, wood is dry and ready.
Also, ensure daytime temps are 50–90°F.
3️⃣ Apply stain – Use a high-quality deck stain in thin, even coats. Let each coat dry fully before adding another.
