Women Owned | Manufactured in Michigan | Buy Online | 2-Week Lead Time As a licensed private pilot, he saw a need for a better way to move small airplanes and he started building his line of AeroTow airplane tugs. When Terry started thinking about retirement, they were looking for a company to take over AeroTow. Through a mutual supplier, AeroTow connected with Amigo Mobility, a battery-operated cart manufacturer in mid-Michigan. When Al and Beth Thieme, founder and owners of Amigo Mobility, met with Terry, there was an instant connection and mutual passion for helping their customers find a better way. Amigo Mobility was founded in 1968 when Al Thieme invented the first motorized mobility cart for a family member with a walking disability. Today, Amigo Mobility manufacturers a variety of battery operated carts and tugs, and sells to grocery stores, healthcare customers, hospitals, warehouses and industrial facilities. Amigo Mobility is proud to continue Terry’s dedication to his customers and manufacturing dependable products while keeping the name and spirit alive.
