NEMO Knives and More will be at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa for the Midwest Arms Collectors gun and knife show being held this weekend, February 12 - 14. Hours on Friday are 4pm - 8pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, and Sunday 9am - 3pm.

NEMO Knives and More had such a good weekend at Hyvee Hall on Jan 1-3 that we will be returning to Des Moines for the gun show being held in the 4-H building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Jan 29 - 31. Hours on Friday are 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 3pm.

The show we were going to set up on Nov 21 at the Memorial Building in Pella, IA has been postponed till Dec 5 due to the new COVID-19 restrictions ordered by the Iowa Governor. We are also booked to be in Chillicothe, MO at the Ag Center on the NW side of town on that date. We will definitely be in Chillicothe, we will see if Pella happens.

On Black Friday/Small Business Saturday we are scheduled to be at Westland Mall in West Burlington, IA and at the same location on Dec 12th and 13th. Hopefully these two events do not get postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

We are very cognizant of the current spike in coronavirus case numbers, but we and the promoters we work with have been doing everything possible to make our events as safe as possible. Masks on everyone, hand sanitizer everywhere, disposable gloves for those who want them, booths farther apart than usual, limits on number of people at a time in a particular building or room, etc.

Way more precautions than the big-box retailers are taking, yet the small artists, crafters and vendors are forced to take it on the chin, while WalMart, Target, Menards, Home Depot, etc. just keep rolling in the dollars. Hopefully the powers that be can correct the disadvantage they are putting the small guys in, and that things can get back to half-way normal in 2021.

Hello! There is a new knife seller in the Tri-State area, NEMO Knives and More. We are Charles and Angela Durbin and we recently relocated to Glenwood, MO (about 25 miles north of Kirksville) from the NW corner of Arkansas. Angie is originally from Memphis, MO (I am originally from SE Kansas) so this is a return to where she lived until meeting me 17 years ago.
We will be operating as a festival and fair vendor until sometime in the spring of 2021 when we anticipate opening a shop, either in our spacious garage here in Glenwood, or in a more visible location along US 63 between Lancaster and Kirksville. In the meantime we are working on having an ecommerce site built but do not know when we will go live with the website.
We have already committed to shows in Ottumwa for this coming Sat (Nov 7) from 10-6 at the Quincy Place Mall and at the Skate Pit in Knoxville on Sat Nov 14 from 9-2. Later in the month we will likely be at the Bridgeview Center Gun Show in Ottumwa from Nov 20-22 and at Westland Mall in W. Burlington for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday.
