A little story from the studio days:
A wedding couple, and both sets of parents, came in when we first opened. Both sets of parents were not in the right mindset to enjoy a first lesson. Very conservative! The bride was clearly NOT conservative. Had a tattoo of a Violet on a vine from the top of her foot to her mid calf.
I have ice breaker jokes, but this was too easy. I spoke to the bride's mom and said, "I bet you don't care for that.." pointing at the tattoo. She said she absolutely did not. I responded, " If you had taught her to wash better, that wouldn't have grown there."

She was the only one not to laugh. We had a pretty good time. I'm sure we would have gotten 5 stars if reviews existed back then.

I have barely been available the last 7 days. My mother in law fell in Michigan, broke her hip, and had to have an emergency partial replacement. I flew up immediately. Until today, I am the only one who can move her without help.
I will be back "in the office" from 11am Central to 7pm Central this week.

I will be catching up, and no floor is behind schedule due to us. Hang in there.

When Beth & I had our studio, we were very successful recruiting/marketing to new clients. We used various Introductory coupons over the years. Of course there were caveats. Every now and then, there would be the one greedy bastard that caused an issue.

Eventually, I was frustrated enough with coupons(GROUPON was the worst) that I had to post a disclaimer. So below is exactly what I put up. At one point it was the 3rd most popular page on our website and actually lead to many new students.

I do not want to have a disclaimer page on our DanceFloorUSA, LLC website, but some folks from last year... Whew.

Regarding warning labels: "You know they wouldn't have it on there if someone hadn't dunnit!"

Debbie was one of the best swing/hustle/WCS dancers I have ever seen. So sorry for all of us that knew her. More so for Mike, her family, and all the animals.
