🛍️ Cardboard treat boxes ➡️ recycle if clean
🎃 Plastic pumpkins ➡️ reuse or donate before tossing in trash
🧙🏼‍♀️ Paper decorations ➡️ recycle if clean and uncoated
👻 Plastic chip bags ➡️ trash container
🕸️ Fake spiderwebs ➡️ trash container
🎃 Real pumpkins ➡️ compost or place directly in the organics container

🚫 DON'T put in: glass (even if it held food), pet waste, candy wrappers, liquids, oils, diapers, or trash

🥕 Make stock from vegetable trimmings
🎃 Use pumpkin seeds after you carve pumpkins
🍎 Buy seasonal produce like squash, apples, and root vegetables in amounts you can realistically finish
🍽️ Plan portions for gatherings and don't overbuy
🍲 Batch cook soups by using greens and vegetables and freeze extra portions.
🌱 Compost all food scraps and trimmings
