21 WILDEY STREET
Tarrytown, NY
2 Stories | 12 Residences
Built on the site of Tarrytown’s former Village Hall, this moderate income building was designed from the start to house the people who keep a village running. Firefighters. Teachers. Ambulance corps. The people who show up.
KIN Salem helped specify and supply Kohler faucets and fixtures, Riobel faucets, Navien instantaneous water heaters, and designed and sourced kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, mirrors, and lighting throughout, delivering a full interior package from a single point of contact.
Thoughtful finishes. Real purpose. A building that serves the people who serve others.
Fun fact: 21 Wildey Street sits on the same block as the Foster Memorial AME Zion Church, founded in 1860 by Amanda Foster, a free Black woman who used her freedom papers to help an enslaved girl escape while working in Arkansas. During the Civil War, the church became a verified stop on the Underground Railroad, providing food and shelter to escaped slaves on their way to Canada. It is the oldest Black church in Westchester County, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and it still stands on Wildey Street today.
