There are some projects that push our imagination and creativity beyond what we think is possible.

This was one of them.

Earlier this year we were part of a project working alongside Vantage Builders and JCJ Architects to help create millwork for the brand new UMass Lowell Esports Arena.

Our team worked on crafting the custom banquette seating and front reception desk.

The desk, made from a factory high-gloss painted wood facade with complex faceted geometry, provided a unique challenge being installed on a sloped ramp floor which compounded the angles throughout the build and installation process.

Finished with a custom UMass blue acrylic transaction top to help it tie seamlessly into the branding and energy of the space.

Last night we officially celebrated our Director of Estimating and Purchasing Rebecca (Becky) MacDonnell's Woodworking Industry 40 Under 40 honor at their leadership reception in Atlanta.

This is such a well deserved honor as Becky is a seasoned leader in our industry helping Continental Woodcraft keep moving forward every day.

We are thrilled for her to receive this recognition and grateful for her leadership and the high standard she sets day in and day out.

We're really looking forward to seeing the finished face on this desk for a local elementary school.

The entire front is being crafted from solid rift red oak with a tongue-and-groove design—a very challenging detail to execute on a curved radius surface.

What makes it even more impressive is that the tongue-and-groove pattern won’t stop at the desk.

Once installed, the curved face will seamlessly continue onto the adjacent wall, creating the appearance that the desk is molded directly into the architecture of the space.

It’s a unique feature that will make a dramatic visual impact and showcase an exceptional level of craftsmanship.

IN PROGRESS: This is one of several project areas for a local Massachusetts school.

Created with an all White Maple veneer and solid wood, project areas are becoming very common in modern day school designs.

Typically located in the school corridors, they provide students with a quite place to work and study away from the classroom, independently or collaboratively in a group with students from different classes and grade levels.

We can't wait to see how these help benefit the students when completed!

It's always a great feeling walking through our shop to witness the progress being made.

Millwork projects like this check-in desk for a local medical facility go through many phases on the floor before they get to their final install.

The amazing detail involved in this project made this an exciting one to watch.

For a project of this scale, precision was key. We used laser templating to ensure a flawless fit for the radius wall cladding in the Orville Platte High School auditorium, creating a seamless look that enhances both aesthetics and acoustics.

The main stairway at Wareham Elementary School isn’t just a passage—it’s a focal point!

Our team took pride in creating the custom laminated mural panels and custom woodwork surrounding their stunning mural artwork helping turn this high-traffic area into an inviting, inspiring space for students and faculty alike.
