Our Corporate Offices, Dayton Mill, and Timberville Mill will be CLOSED for the holiday.

All Rockingham Cooperative retail locations will be open from 8 AM - 2 PM, with the exception of Rockingham Cooperative Ace Hardware - Monterey, which will be open from 8 AM - 12 PM.

We encourage customers to plan ahead for any feed, farm, hardware, or outdoor needs before the holiday weekend.

On this day in cooperative history, Mr. Brock T. White and Claude V. Smith attended a regional meeting for the United Wool Growers Association, which was new to our area, in 1930.

Rockingham Cooperative had been pooling wool for its members for several years by this point, but it was thought that the United Wool Growers Association might provide additional benefits to producers so the cooperative sought to partner with this nationwide organization.

Joining Rockingham Cooperative in participation with the United Wool Growers Association was Shenandoah Cooperative Farm Bureau & Augusta Cooperative Farm Bureau.
