After some tough negotiating, weighing all our options, and lining out the goals that we are personally working towards for our own future, Back-Achers has made the extremely difficult decision to not accept the offered lease renewal terms from our landlords. As a result, we will be liquidating our inventory over the coming year—starting today.
We have been fortunate to serve this community, and we are deeply grateful for your support over the years. You guys have all watched us grow and figure things out as everything wild we could think of was thrown at us (the local hardware store closing down, an epic hailstorm, Jack’s brain tumors, etc). And for that, we have lasting friendships and community connections with so many of you. Because of your loyalty and support, we have been able to sponsor sports teams, donate to raffles, sponsor community events, support local clubs, provide materials for projects at the school, and so much more. We couldn’t have done it without each of you!
We also want to sincerely thank our landlords for the opportunity to lease the building and property as we grew our business. You took a chance on us when you didn’t have to. We would like to wish any future tenants every success in their endeavors. It’s a huge building with so much potential!
As we move forward, we will be selling everything on site, including shelving, display fixtures, outdoor buildings and racks, and more--starting today! Please watch for great deals and special sales as we prepare for our next chapter.
Please do not hesitate to ask us questions if you need any further clarification. We ask that you do not heed to any rumors you may hear because we know there will be many. If you need to know, come and ask us. We are not going under financially, we aren’t mad at anyone, and we aren’t moving to Hawaii (yet!).
