It's Zero Waste Day!! We are celebrating by looking back at some of the repairs we've fixed! Torn seams, busted zippers, worn-out seams… that’s not the end of the story. It’s just a repair waiting to happen.

Repair keeps good materials out of the landfill and gives your favorite pieces a second (or third) life. Plus, there’s something pretty great about holding onto gear that’s been with you through it all.

Repairing this remarkable jacket was truly an honor! This jacket holds special significance as it was worn by the US women's handball team. The photo captures a moment from 1983 in Iceland, this group went on to become the 1984 Olympic team. Coke Lindsey's jacket was given to the local thrift shop but in a round about via Colorado it made it back to her in Washburn. We were thrilled to restore this cherished garment, preserving not just memories but also a piece of history.
