ETI FAB is proud to announce we now offer Gear Broaching, Gear Hobbing, and Gear Shaping services.

Gear broaching delivers precise internal features, keyways, and spline bores in a single pass, built for consistency and production volume. Gear hobbing produces accurate external gear teeth across a wide range of parts and applications. Gear shaping cuts internal gears, cluster gears, and gears near shoulders or flanges where hobbing cannot reach. Together, they give your most complex components a complete solution under one roof. These services will be run on our Heller HF3500 and Doosan Puma 3100LSY.

ETI FAB is now JCP certified

ETI FAB is proud to announce we are now Joint Certification Program (JCP) certified. The JCP is a U.S./Canada Department of Defense program that certifies manufacturers to access unclassified military technical data, the kind of controlled drawings, blueprints, and specifications required to produce parts for defense and government applications. Without this certification, that data, and the contracts that come with it, simply aren't available to you.

For our customers, this is a meaningful step forward. ETI FAB Names Keith Entwistle CNC Operations Manager

25-year machining leader to strengthen CNC performance, safety, and delivery for customers across Indiana and beyond

WESTFIELD, Ind. — [January 22, 2026] — ETI FAB, a precision metal fabrication and machining partner based in Westfield, Indiana, today announced that Keith Entwistle has been named CNC Operations Manager.

In this role, Entwistle will oversee daily machining operations, leading CNC teams, optimizing production, ensuring quality and safety, and managing equipment, tooling, and material resources to meet schedule and budget targets.

“Keith is a disciplined, shop-floor-driven leader who understands what it takes to run CNC operations with consistency, quality first, safety always, and ex*****on that holds up when schedules get tight,” said Ben Crawford, President & CEO at ETI FAB. “His depth of experience in multi-axis machining and his focus on continuous improvement will support our commitment to delivering precision parts with reliability and speed.”

Entwistle brings 25 years of experience in the metal fabrication industry, with expertise spanning 5-axis CNC milling and turning (lathes) and the operational systems required to scale throughput without compromising quality. Every new investment is a great opportunity for us.

Well, it’s definitely not to show off equipment. It’s to give us more capability to serve our customers better. For us, that’s what matters most. Our job has never been to simply ship parts on time, but to deliver them right and to prove that Indiana manufacturing is built on precision, discipline, and pride. This machine raises our ceiling so we can take on more volume, hit urgent timelines without shortcuts, and keep quality consistent when the schedule gets tight.

And yes, while we’re already supporting demanding programs today, we’re expanding what we can offer as requirements get tougher, including more compliance-driven work for government, military, and business partners.

That’s the point of every investment: not to show off equipment, but to strengthen the manufacturing backbone we all rely on.

ETI’s Products are Proudly Made in America

ETI is proud to confirm that their entire Product Line (Tracon, Snow Melt & Dehydrators) meets and exceeds the 55% manufactured/melted/processed in the U.S.A requirement. Our plastic enclosures are made in the South Bend, Indiana area by local suppliers and all of our sheet metal parts are made at ETI Fab in Westfield, Indiana with locally sourced materials.

Our SMT line located in South Bend, Indiana (ETI Controls) assembles all our printed circuit boards with parts from reputable sources such as Digikey, Newark and Mouser.

Final assembly of all products are accomplished at ETI South Bend, Indiana or Westfield, Indiana facilities.

Santa came early to our shop 🎄

As the holidays approach, we decided we’ve been on the “good list” this year and bought ourselves two new pieces of equipment: a VF-3SSYT Haas Vertical Mill and a VF-2SS Haas Vertical Mill. These high-speed mills are a big boost for mass-production parts and urgent orders, helping us push more work through with tight tolerances and short lead times. We’re getting them set up now and will be running the first parts soon. Here’s to more capacity, more precision, and more Indiana-made parts on your dock in 2026.

Our number one rule in the shop is simple: keep our heads cool and support each other.

Every day, our fab floor is swamped with urgent orders and tight deadlines, and things can get tense when customers need parts sooner than planned. Even though our team has been in the fabrication industry for over 25 years, mistakes still happen. When they do, we don’t play the blame game. We focus on fixing the issue, protecting quality, and helping each other through the crunch. That’s how we hit the deadlines and keep our promise on quality, and it’s also how our team comes out closer and stronger after every tough day.
