We had the opportunity to build a playhouse today for Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County. The excitement on the kids faces were priceless. I hope they have so much fun in their new locker room.

Our 3rd annul Easter Egg Hunt was yesterday at Heibar. A big THANK-YOU to the Easter Bunny for stopping to see all of the kids. I hope everyone had a great time!

Christmas is around the corner, with that being said, we would like to donate Christmas dinner to families in need. The package will have a 10-15 lb. turkey, potatoes, corn, green beans, yams, mac & cheese, dressing and cranberry sauce. If you know of a family in need, please reach out. It will all need to be cooked.

Heibar, formerly Clayton Homes, of Westmoreland has donated frozen turkeys and meal ingredients to anyone that is in need of them. Several of those turkey meals have been distributed out thanks to New Vision Ministries, but there are about five left at the PD. If you know of someone that would be in need of these turkeys, please come by the PD today and get them. We only have five left. First come first serve.

Today we had our Heibar Chili Cook-Off! We want to thank the Tennessee Highway Patrol for taking the time to judge and have lunch with us.
