Painting in the edges of my Decoupage paper. This is 'Heart Horse' by WhimsyKel Designs . This is a gorgeous paper. I've already had people asking where to order and some have actually ordered already 😂 ( I am not an affiliate I'm just a fan of Whimsykel myself).

This is a long one but it shows all the steps I take and gives you a peek at my process. I do a lot of blending and mixing colors of my own on a palette ( a plate I use 😂) Often I will use 1 brush for multiple colors without changing, etc. You'll also notice I use many different brands and formulas of paints 🎨 as well as different 🖌️ brushes. I blend some chalk paints, acrylics, and even paints with built in primer. I use chalk acrylic here too NOT straight up chalk paint ( SURPRISE YOU CAN BLEND WITH A LOT OF DIFFERENT PAINTS NOT JUST CHALK!)

Anyway. . . This video shows you how to blend in your edges and how I paint in my drawer edges as well. I also add a little extra to the image. I will do another video when I add more to it including some metal embellishments so stay tuned for the next one!!

Please excuse my appearance I've been extremely sick and I'm still not recovering the best. I haven't been sleeping and I'm very swollen in my face and my legs and feet. Fingers 🤞 this will pass sooner than later

Be sure to follow me at The Little Gray Barn!!
