Position: Hydraulic Service Technician (HST)

Brief Job Description:

The Hydraulic Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and replaces hydraulic hoses, cylinders, valves, pumps, and motors. This role splits time between in-store customer service and traveling to field locations for on-site repairs. Training is provided for mechanically inclined applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose & Repair: Identify, build, and replace hydraulic/pneumatic hoses and components at the shop or customer sites.
• Inventory & Administrative: Use measuring tools (calipers, tape) to match parts, complete work orders, track labor hours, and assist with inventory management.
• Customer Service: Greet clients, research products, and handle check-outs using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: 1+ years of hydraulic, mechanical, field service, or hose manufacturing experience (cylinder/pump repair a plus).
• License: Current, valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand for long periods, work outdoors in extreme weather, and operate (or learn to operate) a forklift.
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work autonomously in the field safely.
