Exciting News at Morey!
We are proud to announce that Morey is now running on our own nitrogen! This milestone is a game changer for our operations, improving efficiency, sustainability, and cost effectiveness.
Nitrogen is essential to Morey’s production process, ensuring the high-quality, defect-free solder our customers expect. By displacing oxygen during soldering, it prevents defects and enhances reliability. Previously, we used bulk liquid nitrogen, which had limitations. Our new system extracts nitrogen from compressed air, filtering out oxygen and other gases. Since air is already 78% nitrogen, this method is efficient, cost-effective, and offers greater control. Since its implementation at the start of the year, the system has performed flawlessly, and we look forward to many years of success with this investment!
A huge thank you to South-Tek Systems for their guidance and support in making this transition a success. Their expertise, along with the utilization of their extensive network of installation partners, played a crucial role in bringing this project to life. We are grateful for their collaboration in helping us achieve this important step.
