Grosbeak Guitars formed organically after nearly a decade of guitar repair, modifying, collecting and playing. Founder and builder, Henry D’Allacco, began playing bass guitar in his teens. Always striving to get the most out of his instruments, he began to tinker, and modify his own instruments. Being in bands he was always designated the “tech” doing setups for his bandmates and members of other

bands. Grosbeak Guitars formed when Henry decided that to get what he really wanted from his instrument, he couldn’t just modify and existing bass, he needed to build it from the ground up. From that the flagship LP-2 Bass was created, and Grosbeak Guitars was born.

Well, after a little hiatus I am back in the shop and making cool stuff, like this new 30.5” 5 String. Part MusicMan, part Mustang, all awesome. Korina neck and body, ebony board, relic nitro finish stainless steel frets, USA hardware, pickups and preamp, and strings.
