DẦU HAY SƠN PHỦ – NÊN CHỌN HỆ HOÀN THIỆN NÀO CHO SÀN GỖ?
Trên gỗ mới hoàn thiện, cả dầu và sơn phủ đều có thể tạo ra một bề mặt đẹp. Tuy nhiên, sự khác biệt sẽ thể hiện rõ khi công trình bắt đầu được đưa vào sử dụng. Vì vậy, hệ hoàn thiện không nên được lựa chọn chỉ dựa trên màu sắc hoặc vẻ đẹp lúc bàn giao, mà cần phù hợp với loại gỗ, mật độ đi lại, tần suất vệ sinh và kế hoạch bảo trì của từng công trình.
1. Khi nào nên hoàn thiện sàn bằng dầu?

Hệ dầu phù hợp khi công trình ưu tiên:

🎨 Màu sắc có chiều sâu, làm nổi bật cấu trúc riêng của từng loại gỗ.
🔧 Có khả năng bảo trì hoặc xử lý cục bộ những khu vực bị hao mòn.

2. Khi nào nên sử dụng sơn phủ?

OIL OR LACQUER – WHICH ONE IS BETTER FOR YOUR WOODEN FLOOR
On a newly finished wood floor, both oil and lacquer can create a beautiful surface. However, the differences become much clearer once the floor is put into use.
For this reason, a finishing system should not be selected based only on colour or appearance at handover. It should also suit the wood species, traffic level, cleaning frequency, and maintenance plan of each project.
1. When should you choose an oil finish?
Oil penetrates into the wood fibres and cures on the surface, helping preserve the authentic feel and natural beauty of the wood.
An oil system is particularly suitable when the project prioritises:
🪵 A natural appearance and feel – allowing the grain and texture of the wood to remain clearly visible and tactile.
🎨 Rich, deep colour – enhancing the unique character and grain structure of each wood species.
🔧 Local maintenance and repair – allowing worn or damaged areas to be maintained or treated locally when required.
Depending on the project requirements, suitable solutions include WOCA Master Colour Oil for colouring and protecting the wood, or WOCA Diamond Oil Active and Hardwax Oil when greater durability is required from an oil-finished surface.
2. When should you choose a lacquer finish?
Lacquer forms a protective film on top of the wood, helping reduce direct exposure of the substrate to water, dirt, and everyday use.

💧 Easy cleaning with good resistance to water and chemicals.

There is no single finishing system for every wood floor
Before choosing between oil and lacquer, consider:

More importantly, surface durability does not depend on the product alone.
