Lightweight concrete cannot compare to Composite FRP for long-term outdoor exposure.

FRP is built with reinforced fiberglass + resin matrix, offering excellent resistance to moisture, sunlight, and heavy impact performance.

Composite FRP is often nearly twice the price, even though the appearance may look similar.

The difference lies in:

🎨 The Decisive Outdoor Factor: GELCOAT

For exterior applications, contractors must require specialized UV-resistant Gelcoat.

👉 High-quality Gelcoat determines:

Color durability

UV resistance

If Gelcoat quality is reduced or standard-grade material is used → the surface may fade after a few years.
It may lose color on the surface, but the structural durability remains outstanding — this is not structural aging.

Reverse master pattern used directly as a mold

Once a proper FRP mold is made → both FRP and lightweight concrete products can achieve high consistency.
