School Safety Week wouldn't be complete without a new case study.

Warsaw Community Schools modernized security across its district by retrofitting existing doors with ASSA ABLOY wireless electronic locks, strengthening access control while minimizing disruption to daily operations.

By implementing electronic locks, the district removed the burden on teachers and staff of manually securing doors, creating a more reliable and consistent layer of protection.

During School Safety Week, we’re spotlighting how one Texas district took its coaches off door duty.

At Gilmer Independent School District, student-athletes and band members come and go from the fieldhouse throughout the day. The district installed iDFace facial identification devices and iDSecure Cloud access control from Control iD.

Students and faculty simply approach the device, where their face is matched to a pre-defined credential for access during authorized time windows. Staff can manage schedules and permissions from the cloud.
