Summary of Driver Position:

The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies along with Federal and State regulations and delivers all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world class customer service experience.
*Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs*

Duties & Responsibilities:

Pre-trip/Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation
Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites
Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
Must report all accidents involving driver or company equipment
Stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload
Customer service skills and professional attitude
Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive
Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED
Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Class B license
Preferred to have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Must have overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
*Wages will be determined by General Manager based on experience

Physical Demands:

Constantly, operates commercial motor vehicle and/or boom vehicle
Constantly, positions self to unload materials from flatbed or boom
Must be able to judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom
Frequently moves materials weighing up to 80lbs while unloading flatbed
Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Constantly working in outside environment while making deliveries

Mental Demands:

Must be able to manage stress depending on customer’s deadline
Must be able to multitask
Must be able to receive information and read GPS directions clearly
Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement

Summary of Laborer:
The primary function of a laborer, is to safely and efficiently help deliver, load/unload materials, and perform any jobs deemed necessary by the General Manager and Operations Manager.
*Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs*

Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
*Preferred to have a clear three (3) year MVR report (only for light truck deliveries)
*Wages to be determined by General Manager

Pay starts at $15 - $20/hour

Good Morning!!!

Effective today, May 5, 2020 we are implementing the following procedures as part of the order.

• We are now going to let customers in our shop, ONE at a time; Our office will remain locked at all times, one of our employees will let you in, and we have implemented hand sanitizer at our front door for your convenience.
• If at all possible please call in your orders so we may have them here and ready.
• If for any reason, someone who comes to our office who is ill, coughing, or seemingly not feeling well, we will refuse entry and you MUST call in to the office to be serviced, while a customer who is ill is being serviced they are to remain inside their vehicle while our yard workers load the material into/and or onto the vehicle, the customer is still responsible for securing their load, we will not do so.
**We practice Social Distancing, and we ask that all customers do the same, and please stay 6 feet away from our employees****

These updated procedures will remain in effect until the State of Ohio guidelines have been lifted.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to continue to serve you going forward!
