We at CTC sharpen and hone with emery cloth and a leather strop with autosol. Starting with 400 grit to 600 to 800 to 1200 then honing with a leather strop and autosol paste. Sanding each surface of the blade as flat as possible is the best way to ensure the sharpest results of your CTC tools.
