Red-y to turn heads!👌Wes and Austin of Mid Iowa Towing in Des Moines, Iowa, are adding another custom build to their fleet with this beautiful 2027 Peterbilt 589 Century 9055 XL Wrecker!

Finished in Viper Red to match Mid-Iowa Towing’s brand, this wrecker carries that custom look throughout, including matching removable accessories and a custom drop visor. The storage setup is just as well thought out, with CTech 8-drawer toolboxes and custom accessory mounts inside the compartments to keep equipment organized. Additionally, Whelen red and blue beacons and warning lights, along with Maxxima marker lights outlining the body, complete the build.

On Toronto’s Highway 400, 20-year heavy tow veteran Brandon Brown was rushed to the ICU with a catastrophic skull fracture after an unexpected equipment accident while working under a disabled truck.

Back for round two👊 Ahmad Farhat of Liberty Hook N Go Towing is stepping back into the ring with Zip’s for his second truck purchase this year, and this 2026 Freightliner M2 Century 10 Series Carrier is ready to throw some punches on the job.

In his corner: a 22-foot steel bed with a galvanized sub-frame and removable tube side rails, giving him a solid setup for the work ahead. The storage package features steel toolboxes with Zip’s custom sliding drawers and dividers, plus garbage and gas can holders and broom and shovel mounts.

No detail left behind.👌 Braxton of Leaf's Towing & Recovery is all smiles as he gets behind the wheel of this custom 2026 Chevy 3500 4x4 Century 312 Wrecker. With his name on the decals, this truck was built with him in mind! As longtime Zip’s customers, Danny and his wife, Traci, worked closely with our team to bring their vision to life, even giving Braxton the opportunity to visit Zip’s throughout the build and be part of the process.

This wrecker is built for efficiency, starting with an Autoload wheel lift with hydraulic stiff legs. The customized storage maximizes every inch, with open-top toolboxes, broom and shovel mounts, a garbage mount and dedicated dolly storage. Additional accessory mounts inside the compartments keep equipment organized and easily accessible. Topped off with a Feniex Quantum light bar, Whelen warning lights and LED compartment lighting, this build brings together functionality and a custom finish.

Congratulations to the entire Leaf family on the new addition, and to Braxton on his new ride! When it comes to storage, we understood the assignment. 👊 Bill and Brock from Bill’s Towing in St. Charles, Minnesota, took delivery of this Holmes Generation 3 DTU mounted on a Peterbilt 379 tandem axle.

This setup is all about making the most of every inch. With a tunnel toolbox featuring a chain rack, fork holders and sn**ch block storage, plus additional 96-inch toolboxes, there’s plenty of room for the tools and equipment needed on the job. LED strip lighting and blue Dri-Dek give the storage compartments a polished finish, while the Feniex Quantum light bar, beacon lights and Buyers strobe lights complete the look.
