A compact and sculpted sign, where the organic form is concentrated into an essential volume. Soft and continuous surfaces express a balanced synthesis between solidity and lightness. Starting from a fixed volume of 85 cm³ of material, designer Kensaku Oshiro shaped the entire Serie 85 collection in which each element is generated from the same identical quantity of matter, transformed through form into different expressions of balance, presence, and function.

“Designing Bik, I wanted to remove everything that was superfluous. The door didn’t need an added element, it needed a clear sign. The cylinder is a universal form, but it’s the proportion above all that makes it a design. In keeping with my signature architectural approach, every detail is dictated by a balance between function, form and context. In Bik, simplicity and precision become beauty”. - Vittorio Grassi

Brian Sironi is an Italian industrial designer, trained at Politecnico di Milano and shaped by the design culture of Brianza. After an experience in the United States, he founded his own studio, blending local roots with an international perspective. His methodology combines an analytical study of product architecture with an empathic approach to human-object interaction. Form emerges as the materialization of an idea, driven by a constant pursuit of structural purity and balanced proportions. In 2010, he was selected for The New Italian Design Reloaded at Triennale di Milano. His work has received major international awards, including the Compasso d’Oro, among the youngest winners, alongside the iF Gold Award, among others.

“Minimal and elegant, Nora is a handle that bears a classic yet contemporary name. The study of form and design is based on continuity of surfaces, naturally connecting the grip and the base; the material is concentrated where it’s need for the grip, and reduced in the transition zones.” - Brian Sironi
