It's Time For The Candle Trick Again

As we are getting ever closer to winter and temperatures outside are dropping. Nothing spoils a cozy atmosphere in your home like a draft.

What you'll need:
1. A windy day
2. A Candle
Open a window as far as possible from room or area where you noticed the draft. Return to the room or area in question and light the candle. Slowly take the candle up to each of the windows on the room or area pausing for at least a minute at a time. Wherever the flame experiences most movement is most likely the source of the draft.

After spending my formative years gaining experience in window and door manufacturing, I jumped at the opportunity in 1997 to start K Parker Joinery. My specialist team and I built the business on providing custom wooden doors, windows and mouldings paying close attention to quality, custom products at affordable prices and client’s needs.

Following the architects design requirements for products requiring less maintenance we have also expanded our range to include uPVC and Aluminium. Our loyal customers include architects, trade and the public. Building dream homes, commercial properties, executive hotels and 5 star lodges both locally and across our borders.
