So sad to see the litter, junk and human waste in our garden that we have so nicely tried to maintain.

It is obvious that this is a place that the local drunks come and misbehave.

Some irrigation has also been broken.

When will this parking lot be managed properly. Where is Law Enforcement?

Come rain or shine, we are planting...Saturday 2 Sept 2023

We cleaned up and weeded at the open area across from Sasol - bags full!
We hope to plant there soon, with Parks and Recreations blessing.

We also assisted the owners of Klein Melkbos to prune and remove overgrown vegetation. All aloes were replanted on Otto du Plessis.

Saturday 10 June - a sunny planting day for us!

We were fortunate to get a massive collection of succulents donated by the previous and new owners of a property in Visvanger. Dankie oom Japie en tannie Elsabe Cloete - ons het aalwyne van julle pragtige tuin oral in Melkbosstrand geplant.

We re-planted aloes along the ridge of the parking area and at Melkbos Kitchen area.

Great to live in a town where the local businesses support us when we ask for donations and assistance, to do what we love to do!
We had a rainy clean-up day last Saturday at SAPS, Fire station and across the road from Birkenhead centre.

3 x Tree Aloe branches, 1 to 1,5 meters high. If you can spare a branch or 2 from your tree please donate.

Red crassula, as on photo, is always welcome.
