Geoplast's Defender contributed to building of Kellerei Bozen's 20 000 square meter headquarters and Italy's first Climate House certified winery by protecting the waterproofing layer of the winery's extensive underground production area against backfill pressure and hydrostatic loads.

Our system replaced traditional 20cm gravel drainage layers with 7cm recycled plastic panel, reducing backfill by 65%. In addition it also provided the project with :

• A ventilated, drained cavity that prevents moisture build-up on the basement walls,
• Even distribution of soil pressure, protecting the waterproofing membrane,
• Long-term structural durability essential for stable, controlled production and underground storage.

21,000 square meters of wet soil turned into lightweight concrete foundation slabs for the Designer Outlet Croatia shopping center with our New Nautilus Evo system.

The foundation was completed using 14,400 pieces which provided construction with reduction on concrete consumption and CO2 emissions, savings on installation time and costs, and a rigid foundation slab with high-load bearing resistance and excellent seismic response.
