A little effort, a lot of growth, and something worth celebrating!

We are incredibly proud of the fresh produce coming out of our Powafix staff vegetable garden in Cato Ridge!

Over the past three months, we’ve expanded the garden, installed a sprinkler system and enriched the soil with natural compost.

And we’re not stopping there. We’ve now added potatoes, carrots, chillies and mielies to the mix.

Best part… wasn’t what we grew. It was what we could give away.

All of these vegetables went to one of our packing teams as a small gesture of appreciation for their positivity, commitment and determination to get things done on time.

Recognition and appreciation can take many forms. Sometimes it’s not about money or grand gestures, but about intentionally giving back some of your time, effort and care. Simple acts can have the greatest impact.

🇿🇦 South Africa is full of wonderfully remarkable experiences. And if you can’t find any, go out and create them!

Celebrating our heritage, our health and our people! ❤️

This Heritage Day, our Powafix teams came together for more than just a good braai!

At our KZN Head Office we combined our Heritage Day celebrations with a Wellness Day initiative, welcoming nurses and dental professionals who spent time with our team discussing important topics including, dental health, lifestyle health, drug and alcohol awareness, HIV/AIDS and TB education.

Our team also had the opportunity to complete basic health checks, including blood pressure and glucose readings, before ending the day with some team sports, plenty of laughs and, of course, a proper South African braai! 🔥🏃‍♂️

The celebrations extended across Powafix, with our Johannesburg, Cape Town and Bloemfontein branches also firing up the braais and celebrating Heritage Day together. 🇿🇦

Powafix is about more than the products on the shelf. It’s about the people behind them. Caring for the future of our people, supporting their wellbeing and creating enjoyable moments together are just as important as our brand.

Different branches, different backgrounds, but one Powafix family. 💙
