Worldwide more than 850 PERI engineers work on individual formwork and scaffolding solutions. The focus is on the analysis and optimization of integrated processes. Plywood and panel trade:
PERI offers coated and uncoated formwork panels. PERI holds plywood ready for applications in paving industry, vehicle construction, precast concrete plants, timber construction and packing industry. Complementary Products:

Season's greetings from all of us at PERI South Africa.

As the year comes to a close, it's time to pack away the tools and pause construction plans for a short while. We would like to thank our valued clients, partners, and teams for the trust, collaboration, and hard work throughout the year.

This warehouse build in Cape Town required a smart solution for the slabs and beam sides. A combination of PD5, Quickstage, and Handset Alpha was used to form the double volume slabs and beams standing over 5.8 meters high.

In total, MULTIFLEX on PD5 accounted for 104.5 tons, with HANDSET Alpha and QUICKSTAGE adding another 19 tons. The systems were cycled several times, PD5 across 2000m², HANDSET Alpha across 480m², and QUICKSTAGE across 135m², all at an average pour height of 5.2 meters.

Using PD5 meant the team worked with significantly less material on site, which made setup, handling, and transport much easier. With fewer parts to move, pours were completed ahead of schedule even with the wet and muddy ground conditions.

No cranes were needed, which helped keep the site open, organised, and safe.

Hearing from the client that "PD5 is the best support system we have worked with so far" reinforces our goal of delivering systems that make construction safer, faster, and more efficient every time.

Air Traffic Control Tower, Accra, Ghana

The new air traffic control tower in Accra was built to replace the existing facility and strengthen aviation infrastructure in one of West Africa's busiest regions. The project was led by , based and operating in Ghana for more than twenty years. They specialise in full turnkey design and build solutions and have delivered major projects across the country.

This tower was built on a tight schedule, with a three metre pour completed every week. The structure's curved concrete walls were formed using , , and systems. The formwork was cycled every six days, a fast turnaround for curved wall construction, allowing the team to maintain momentum without compromising quality.

To support the project team, PERI provided two weeks of hands on on site to guide safe assembly, correct sequencing, and confidence in handling the systems independently.

A technically precise build that shows how engineering, knowledge sharing, and collaboration continue to shape progress across Africa.
