A BUSY FORTNIGHT FOR TEAM TORK CRAFT
From Hawkstone in the UK through Kyalami to Delmas

It’s been a big fortnight for Team Tork Craft with racing action across the country and around the world. Team members raced in motocross, cross country and on track, everywhere from Hawkstone Park in England, through to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, in Namibia and even Delmas. All, including team patron Ryan Hunt, the RTR ladies, the SunBet ZX10 masters, and especially the Tork Craft TrackBox toolbox, starred.

Ryan enjoyed a big weekend out with his old rivals at the Veteran Motocross des Nations in Hawkstone Park, England. The girls shone at both the Motocross of African Nations in Windhoek and at Dirt Broncos. The Masters owned the Kyalami Festival of Motoring and Team Tork Craft dominated this past weekend’s Delmas GXCC Cross Country.

While Ryan Hunt took a touch too long to find the best VMXdN set-up for the muddy, slippery, and wet Hawkstone on his Honda CR250, he enjoyed a thoroughly good time riding Clark Davidson’s 2001 2-stroke machine expertly tended by factory mechanic Julian Dobb and came home in one piece. A highlight for Ryan was the response of his Tork Craft TrackBoxes in the British pits. Even the legendary Doc Wob has adopted the state of the art toolboxes to spanner his legend riders’ machines going forward.

Speaking of Tork Craft tool boxes, several lucky Kyalami Festival of Motoring visitors were delighted to take their prize boxes home as Tork Craft gave several away over the weekend. On track meantime, Clinton Seller continued his dramatic comeback in the 2026 SunBet ZX10 Masters motorcycles at Kyalami. The double reigning champion won all four weekend races.

He beat Hein McMahon and Keith Agliotti in a chaotic race 1 after championship leader Damien Purificati was left on the grid before his fine fightback to the points in 13th. Purificati ended second in the remaining three races, twice from McMahon, and finally from Trevor Westman. Over that same weekend, team Tork Craft ladies, Husqvarna lass Mackenzie Bam ended second and Caitlin Parkes fourth in the Namibian Ladies MXoAN.

Not to be outdone, Tork Craft RTR’s Sharisma Kriel ended second in the Dirt Broncos ladies race. Also at Dirt Broncos, Team Tork Craft’s Tommy Wotherspoon came home second in 85cc, while Tork Craft RTR lads Lourens Erasmus ended sixth in the Windhoek MXoAN 85s with Adam Meyer 13th. Ritchie Smith came home fifth in 65cc there and Cameron Stuckie was tenth in the Namibian 125 High School races.

To close off a busy fortnight, team Tork Craft was once again out in force at Saturday’s Leeuwpoort GXCC in Delmas. Slade Smith swung his leg over a 450cc Cross Country Sigmafix Tork Craft Yamaha for the first time to dominate with an overall and OR1 win. Deruk van Aswegen rode his Pepson Plastics Tork Craft Kawaski home fifth overall and second in 250cc OR3 ahead of Tyron Beverley’s Sigmafix Tork Craft Yamaha.

Team Tork Craft’s Adam Meyer took the Junior win too, where Adam Compaan ended fifth. Ulrich Sterley dominated 65 Pro to win by a lap with fifth overall in the Juniors with Liam Sterley third. And to close off a great Fortnight’s racing, Sharisma Kriel came home best of the Ladies in Delmas too, while Cameron Stuckie was third in High School 125 and Caitlin Parkes second in Ladies in the Cape regional motocross races at Zone 7.
