NC Steel Fabrications
Owner of NC Steel Fabrications, Nick Alberts, was tired of having to drive all the way to Pietermaritzburg companies that dominated the Midlands Steel market in order to get steel and hardware supplies.
He decided the best way to fix this undesirable predicament, was to open a local steel shop in the heart of Nottingham road where farmers and other locals can buy all their building and fencing supplies, without the hassle to drive miles to get what they needed.
Furthermore, he also wanted to provide a service to take care of all manufacturing, fabrications and installations right on the doorstep of locals to make life even easier for his fellow community members. Consequently, in August 2019, NC Steel Fabrications was born.
We leased a building at the back of Spar Centre to ensure convenience for all Notties Locals, and started manufacturing some steel items like fences, posts, stays and gates. We also became General Steel Merchants.
