Over 30 years ago, Dorado pioneered the original half round wooden curtain rod — and we've been perfecting window finishes ever since.

From that first wooden rod to today's full range of tracks, pelmets, blinds and finishes, our focus hasn't changed: superior craftsmanship and real attention to detail, in every product we make.

Three decades on, we're still driven by the same passion for interior design that started it all.

Thank you for being part of our story.

The small parts make the biggest difference to how your curtains move. ✨

Our range of curtain accessories includes draw rods for effortless opening and closing, toggles for a clean finish, and wave tape to create soft, uniform folds along a wave track.

Whether you’re finishing off a new installation or upgrading an existing one, the right accessory can transform how your curtains hang, glide and look.

Small parts. Big impact. 🏡

Meet the Dorado Decorators Choice Range — a 38mm rod and track combo, all in one system.

Designed for a modern, contemporary finish, it works with our wave track technology for soft, uniform folds, or with traditional button gliders if you prefer a classic curtain hang.

Tracks can be mitred at 45° or 90° corners for a seamless fit around bay windows and box returns, and are available in six finishes: Antique Copper, Astro Silver, Black, Gun Metal, Vogue Silver and White.

One system, endless configurations — finished exactly the way you want it.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Behind every pink ribbon is someone's mother, sister, daughter, colleague or friend — someone we know, or someone we haven't met yet who is fighting all the same.
This month, we're pausing to recognise the strength of everyone facing breast cancer, and the quiet resilience of the family and friends supporting them.

If you haven't already, take a moment this October to check in on someone you love. And don't forget to check in on yourself too.

Myth: Stainless steel curtain rods are only for bathrooms and kitchens.

While stainless steel rods are a practical, rust-resistant choice for high-moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens, their sleek, contemporary finish makes them just as at home in a living room, bedroom or home office.

✔ Clean lines that suit modern and minimalist interiors
✔ Durable and long-lasting in any environment
✔ A sophisticated alternative to powder coated finishes
✔ Works beautifully with sheer, linen and tailored curtain styles

The Dorado Stainless Steel Range proves that functionality and style are never mutually exclusive.

Did you know a pelmet can completely change how your windows, and your room, look and feel?

A pelmet is a decorative box or board fitted above your curtains to conceal the track or rod and create a neat, polished finish. But the benefits go beyond aesthetics:

✔ Hides tracks, rods and heading tape for a clean, built-in look
✔ Reduces light gaps at the top of your curtains
✔ Helps insulate your windows by limiting drafts
✔ Makes ceilings appear higher when mounted close to the ceiling line
✔ Adds an opportunity to introduce colour, pattern or texture

Whether upholstered, painted or wrapped in fabric, a pelmet is one of the most underrated finishing touches in interior design.

Ask Dorado about adding a pelmet to your next installation.
