Gogo never checked the label on her pot.
She did not know it was 99.9% aluminium. She did not care about thermal conductivity. She never read a product review.
But she knew one thing: her pot cooked pap right. Every time.
The water boiled evenly. The maize meal settled without lumps. She put the lid on, turned the heat low, and walked away. No constant stirring. No worrying about the bottom burning.
Thirty minutes later — pap. Firm. Smooth. And that crust at the bottom? Golden. Slightly crispy. The part everyone fought over.
