Promac Paints Paint Manufacturer | Paint Gear
From garage to greatness & going strong Garage to greatness in three decades. Today, Promac is more than Promac Paints.

Growth through smart acquisition, opportunity and diversification. We began our business for the best reason in the world: family. Our achievement is a story of garage to greatness – a couple of guys who started making better paints; for better profit opportunities; to make money to provide for their families. This remains the core of our successful business model as we attract individuals to our team who appreciate the same work ethic and reason to go to work every day and do their best. We manufacture and distribute bespoke paint brands for major retailers such as Massmart (Builders Warehouse, Makro and Game), Chamberlains, Paint Trade, K Carrim Hardware, and Paintsmiths – lasting relationships built and sustained through unequalled quality, service and value. We also supply a full scope of paint gear through our home brand iPaint and our representation of international brand Harris brushware & allied products. Beyond an extensive range of paint, varnishes, waterproofing and related gear for all your paint needs – home and industry – Promac has diversified into the alternative areas of rubber tyre recycling and pharmaceutical manufacturing through our affiliation with sister companies XTyre and Amaris Laboratories. We are driven by innovation and opportunism – and it works. Over the span of three decades, we have become one of the largest privately owned manufacturing businesses in our industry. We have grown to over 700 people strong – an association of diverse businesses & people, each bringing their own valued importance to our team. We celebrate our sweat at every opportunity. Together we form our own family. We are Promac in action, this is Promaction!

And that’s a wrap on Deep Sea at .

It was a slow spring brunch with good company and a colour that gave us space to think about everything still ahead.

Deep Sea reminded us that possibility doesn’t always arrive loudly, sometimes you find it in the quiet, when you finally give yourself room to focus.

And with that, we close this chapter. Thank you for spending October with us.

Four shades, one easy palette.

Single Lady brings clarity and light, Raw Hide adds warmth and grounding. Sleepy Valley offers a cool, calm pause, while Deep Sea pulls it all together with depth and focus.

Together they make a palette that feels balanced, thoughtful and easy to live with.

This is our October Edit.

Flip Arches is done! Wilma’s vision came to life so beautifully.

She really does have the magic touch, and watching this house go from a project to a home has been such a joy.

Thank you, Wilma, for letting us be part of it.

We can’t wait to see what she does next. Which space was your favourite?

This is Deep Sea, gathered in one place.

Inky linen, weathered brass, dark timber and soft stone are all pulled together by a blue-green that makes everything around it feel more considered.

This is the mood we’ve been living in all month, and we’re not quite ready to let it go.

Which detail would you steal for your own space?

Which shade of blue are you?

Some of us are the bright, sunny sky kind, some are soft and powdery, and some are deep, thoughtful and quietly magnetic.

If so, you might just be Deep Sea. Swipe through, find your blue and tell us in the comments.

Sleepy Valley is the calm, cool grey that feels like early morning mist settling over the hills.

Its soft blue undertone makes it a natural companion to Deep Sea, creating a tonal look that feels layered and serene. Pair it with crisp white trims, charcoal accents, natural stone and plenty of greenery for an exterior that feels fresh and settled.

As a textured finish, it adds depth and character to outside walls and lets the light play across the surface throughout the day.

Swipe through and start getting inspired.
