We provide a beautiful array of tiles and stone sourced from across the globe. SURFACE STUDIO was established in 2013 by tile industry leader Karen Reid.

It was born from her passion for beautiful stone surfaces and ceramic tiles, combined with an understanding of the importance of safe, practical and aesthetically pleasing tile solutions delivered on time and on budget. Surface Studio is founded on the principles of:
- total commitment to the successful realization of the client’s brief
- sourcing and supply of products of the highest quality and design excellence
-ethical and responsible business practices, coupled with the highest standards of customer service

Combined with a passion for, and understanding of, the ‘hard surface’ specification industry, Surface Studio prides itself on its level of customer service, with particular attention to meeting project timelines, and complex installation programs. Surface Studio’s primary role is to ensure a successful outcome for each project, in partnership with the specifier. The studio’s network of quality manufacturers, craftsmen and prestige suppliers around the world enables it to not only source and obtain unique products, but to have them customized to the particular requirements of its clients. Its custom capabilities include assistance in all aspects of the specification process, from initial concept to completion. Surface Studio works with some of Australia’s leading interior designers, architects and builders, to provide cladding programs of distinction for their projects, no matter how large or small. The studio’s primary role is to ensure a successful outcome for each project, in partnership with the specifier.

Blue Ridge Matte from Fireclay’s Brick collection brings a rich, muted blue to the classic 2.5 x 8 brick format. The matte finish gives the tile an understated look, while its deep blue tone offers an alternative to more neutral finishes across kitchen splashbacks, bathroom walls and other interior applications. Part of Fireclay’s Made to Order collection, the glazed brick range features handcrafted tiles with lead-free glazes in a wide variety of colours, shapes and finishes. 🛀

Concrete, handcrafted by ARTO. 🤎

With a history in handcrafted tilemaking dating back to 1966, ARTO turned to concrete in 1973. What began as an alternative to kiln-fired production has since become one of the brand’s defining collections, spanning tiles, brick and pavers made by hand.

Across brick, wall cladding and interlocking pavers, ARTO’s Concrete Collection offers options for a range of indoor and outdoor applications. Pigmented through the body, each piece develops a patina over time, with a surface that evolves with its surroundings.

Dover Terrazzo combines a soft blue-grey concrete base with ivory and white quartzite chips, creating a fine, varied surface with warm stone details throughout. The mix of natural aggregates gives the terrazzo its distinctive appearance, with each piece carrying a different arrangement of chips across the surface. 🤍
