Our passion for good quality products and experience within the field made this possible! We will have a selection of local products with our own specialty Scottish items as well. Duncan and Jo Dunn have many years of experience, both in the South Australian Meat Industry and also in Scotland. Duncan has been an artisan butcher for 25 years and has continued to succeed in this field after arriving

in Australia 5 years ago. Black pudding, haggis and an array of award winning sausages. Jo has worked in, and has managed several successful meat retail outlets in SA, after attending Roseworthy Agricultural College and further study of beef cattle husbandry. Her passion lies in quality, ethically sourced and sustainable products while supporting local farmers. Penny Flint (Jo's mum) grew up working with the family's tool and hardware business, later became a Registered Nurse and has always had a keen interest in all things food!

Our production of delicious, authentic Scottish products is a little sporadic at the moment, but please rest assured that we will let you know when we have more of our beautiful haggis available. As you know, it is handmade from a generations-old recipe from the Scottish Highlands, and we take great pride in retaining complete control over its supply.
Our haggis will never be sold through the new butcher in Woodside and any other avenue for purchase will be made public to you through our social media pages. Your loyalty is what has allowed us to continue to bring you our genuine Scottish foods, and we will always value you.

Springtime is perfect for BBQ’s and this was a fabulous selection of meat from at Victor Harbor. Pork porterhouse were tender as, along with delicious belly ribs, chicken and beef satays and a selection of sausages. Chargrilled eggplant, capsicum, zucchini, sweetcorn and asparagus topped with feta made a complete dish for a small crowd.

So easy and enough to feed an army or load the freezer!
Lots of veg including leeks, bacon, chopped preserved lemons and olives, top with chicken thighs or chops, drizzle with olive oil and into the oven for 30 mins. Give it a stir and seeing this was a big one, add 3 cups risoni, 3 cups chicken stock and plenty of fresh herbs for another 30 mins or until liquid is absorbed. Finish with a bit of cream if liked.

“Cullen Skink”🐟 I first had this delicious, Scottish chowder style soup at the Britannia café after a tour of the yacht in Edinburgh a few years ago. It’s so easy to make and Smoked Cod is an excellent substitute for Smoked Haddock.
