PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Mt Arthur Mine Workshop

Installing pipework in a mine workshop while the mine keeps running takes planning. For Thiess at Mt Arthur we ran a bank of stainless steel service lines and an aluminium compressed air main at height around a 20 tonne overhead crane, with drops to every bay, all from boom and scissor lifts. Three weeks, start to finish.

This little brass valve is the thing that stops your air receiver going over pressure.

They get forgotten about because they just sit there. But they do wear out and they can seize, and you only find out when you need it to work.

When was yours last tested? We check them as part of every service.

Air hoses left across the workshop floor are a trip hazard, and they wear out faster when they get driven over.

The RetractaFLEX keeps 15 metres of 3/8" (10mm) air hose wound up and out of the way until you need it. Pull out what you need, and it winds itself back in when you are done.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Woolworths Distribution Centre, Eastern Creek

A distribution centre needs dry, reliable air delivered over long distances. We installed the whole system for New Edge Group: two rotary screw compressors, twin tower desiccant dryers, and a copper compressed air main at high level with droppers to every point of use.

New plant room taking shape. Receiver is in, filters are on the wall, and the Pneumatech desiccant dryer is still in its wrapping waiting to be connected.

This site needs very dry air, which is why it's a desiccant dryer and not a refrigerated one. Not sure which one you need? Ask us, it depends on what the air is being used for.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Western Sydney Airport

Twelve months on site at Western Sydney Airport. We delivered the compressed air and breathing air systems for the new Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting station, working for Fredon: oil-free compressors, high-pressure breathing air compressors and stainless steel press-fit pipework through the vehicle bays and workshops.

Not much room to work with on this one. The customer needed a compressor, dryer and tank inside a shipping container, so we went with a Chicago Pneumatic CPA20. Everything is on the one frame and it still leaves room to get around it for servicing.
