This project turned out amazing!!!
We gave the front of this a new, updated look, to spruce some life into it.
The old pavers were a massive tripping hazard, plus our customer wanted a new look. Instead of having a solid transition line between the old pavers and new Manor Smooth Aspen Range Interlock, we blended the two styles together naturally.
The columns are custom milled cedar. We mitered 45Β° cut the 2" thick x 10" wide boards length wise to create a solid boxed in column. The inside of the column is a solid 6x6 post mounted to the cement step, and mounted to the top overhang. We then installed a mitered 45Β° cut 4" wide casing around the top and bottom of the columns to give them a bit more dimension.
We took out the old mulch and installed new natural wood/light brown mulch to compliment the Interlock and columns.
We're happy with how it turned out, and so is the customer!
