Drum set building supplies. Hoops, claws, lugs, shells.

I started as a builder and liked it so much that I thought I would share the products that worked well for my own drum build.

Dan in New York shared this recent build with his own built shells/hoops. Some of my brass lugs and claws are on there to bring it all together.

Bob in New Jersey shared this Yamaha shell that got a set of tube lugs to get back into playing condition.

*Texas Tama!* Gordon shared this vintage Tama cask wood snare. The original lugs gave up, so I was able to provide these reproduction solid aluminum units that will keep this beautiful drum going into the future.

Stephen in Florida shared this tom that needed some matching lugs to a previous project he had me do. Cito tube lugs filling in for the long lost originals.

Noel in Washington shared this fantastic Tama Artwood that needed...you guessed it-non busted lugs. I do these reproduction lugs to keep the stock look and get these drums back to where they should be.

East coast beauty shared by Jon in Newfoundland. Brass single points on a creative and gorgeous stave shell.

14" x 6.5" brass. Daniel in California shared this snare that has some Cito tube lugs. The minimal lugs really help stay out of the way of this classy shell.

****Tama goodness**** Tony in Indiana shared this beautiful cask vintage Tama. The original lugs were still holding up, but I was able to get him a set of period reproductions so he can keep the originals but still use this collectable drum under higher tensions.

Pat in Virginia shared this snare with tube lugs. Normally I do the posts in a 1/2" diameter but was asked to bump that up to 3/4". The increased post gave these tubes a chunkier look on this tall snare.

A classic cask Tama from the golden era that needed some lug help. These reproductions are time consuming but keep the vintage look. Thank you Brian in Philadelphia for sharing.
