Goodbyes are never easy – but please join us in a fond farewell of our General Manager, Kaitlyn Peters. After 3.5 amazing years Kaitlyn is moving on to other opportunities, and we want to express our heartfelt thanks for everything she’s done for Pollock’s and our greater community. Kaitlyn joined the Pollock’s family at a pivotal time for our future – coming off the heels of Covid-19 restrictions, and facing rising inflation, Kaitlyn put her heart and soul into the store and helped get us on a pathway to thriving instead of just surviving. Whether she was caring for Ratchet, hunting down the best deals for our members, or maintaining our beautiful 104-year-old Hardware Store, Kaitlyn truly encompassed the community spirit that keeps the spirit of Pollock’s Hardware Co-op alive.

The General Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations of Winnipeg’s last remaining independently owned Hardware Store. This unique opportunity requires experience with merchandising, cash flow, event planning, staff management, and reporting to a volunteer board of directors. A DIY skillset and co-op knowledge is an asset.
This is a full time, permanent position based in the North End of Winnipeg.
