Fancy taking the controls?

Teams have been trying KECKEX for themselves at this week’s demonstrations with Ian.

It’s a chance to get a feel for the equipment, try it on the areas you look after and ask the questions that come up as you work.

Want to give it a go on your site? Message Groundserv or call 020 8641 7979.

Why does KECKEX use both hot water AND?

There’s a practical reason for it. The weed-treatment head traps steam around the weeds, helping keep the heat where it needs to work.

We’ve explained it in this Q&A, along with some of the other jobs the same system can tackle.

Have a look through, then give Groundserv a shout if you’d like to see it in action.

More ground to mow doesn’t have to mean another mower to buy.

This Ransomes MP493 Batwing from our hire fleet has been working all season.

Long-term hire lets you budget for the machinery alongside the contract, keeping capital available for wages, materials and everything else that needs paying before the invoices come in.

Planning next season? Talk to Groundserv about hire options for the work you’re quoting.

The grass gets cut. The other jobs wait. Sound familiar?

Our latest blog looks at whether a Kress robot mower could give your grounds team some time back, and how to work out whether the investment makes sense.

There’s a worked example, the jobs you’d still need to allow for and a few things worth testing at a demonstration.

Got a bank you’re forever mowing?

Ian took the four-wheel-drive Kress KR283E to a private school for a demonstration on this one. Its articulated body helps it follow uneven ground, too.

Alongside tackling the slope, there’s the time it could give back to the grounds team. Fewer hours mowing each week can make a real difference to costs over a season.

Send Groundserv a photo of your awkward patch. We’ll talk through whether a robot could help and what the savings might look like.

Nobody buys a battery hoping to replace it.

If your equipment’s out working every day, battery life and charging time should be part of the sum.

Thinking of making the switch? Give Groundserv your kit list and let’s price up a setup that suits your work. You’ll have our workshop and parts team behind you too.

Message us or call 020 8641 7979.

There was no shortage of questions about KECKEX at FutureScape.

“So is it basically a big steam cleaner?” was one question asked after a first glance at KECKEX.

Fair question - it's not something you've probably seen before!
